It was a lovely hotel, but it could have been a bit cleaner. E.g. the room carpet was vacuumed every day, but there was a smell of dust in the air, which was probably an indication that the carpet was probably needing to be damp cleaned! Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay. The Ayush Spa hot stone massage was great. Both my daughter and I enjoyed our treatments there and the staff in the spa were lovely. On the Saturday evening when we arrived, we had dinner in the hotel dining room. I ordered the fish and chips. The chips were good and tasty, but, sadly the fish must have been left in the oven for too long as the batter on it was burnt. I had 2 pieces of fish and I ate one of those as I was rather hungry, but couldn't eat the second piece. And the fish inside the batter was dry, bland and tasteless, so for what it cost, I didn't think it was value for money. We enjoyed our holiday and the hotel was good, so we are giving it an 8 out of 10 score.

Our flight got to jersey early. So we headed to the hotel and was able to use to leisure facilities to pass the time before our room was ready. Pool, massage jets, steam, sauna. Amazing... perfect for relaxing. Also has lunch on the terrace restaurant. Reception desk exceptionally helpful Breakfast was self service and very enjoyable. Plenty of choice. Nice coffee and cooked breakfast. Hit the gym on the second day. Which has everything needed for a decent workout. Room was lovely. Spacious, bright, very very comfortable large bed. Lovely outdoor lounge area. Had a wine in the sunshine and took our lunch outside...

Hotel de France strikes a great balance between being a luxury hotel while still offering a relaxed holiday experience. The pool and spa facilities are great with the pool being just big enough to do a bit of proper swimming. Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection and staff always on hand during our stay to pick up the extras. There is plenty of parking if you have a car and it is a short fifteen minute stroll to St Helier centre. WiFi free and fast. We had an excellent stay (nine days) and felt thoroughly welcome.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Also, I enjoyed the spa very much. Please note that the hotel is located on a hill about 1 km away from the busy city center. And even though St. Saviour´s Rd. is very busy too, the hotel rooms are absolutely quiet, so don´t worry about traffic noise at all. If you are German like me don´t forget to bring an adapter for you phone or laptop (otherwise, the staff will help you out).

Hotel was beautiful and refurbished to a 5* standard albeit it’s only 4* Rooms were lovely Spa and pool facilities were excellent and got great assistance if Katrina Staff were 5* plus especially restaurant manager Ashutosh and restaurant assistant Daniel I must say that all staff couldn’t do enough to be helpful and do their jobs to an excellent standard Hotel a good 25 minute walk to town but hotel provides a shuttle service
